  1. Compare and contrast environment from ecosystem by providing at least 3 essential elements of each.
  2. Using Gaia theory, propose a policy that helps maintain a livable environment.
  3. Discuss positive and negative contributions of any form of precipitation to the main components of the biosphere (3-5 sentences).

  1. 1. Compare and contrast environment from ecosystem by providing at least 3 essential elements of each.
    a. Environment and ecosystem co-exists with one another. Where there is environment, ecosystem can be found. However, environment is simply the physical composition of earth: living things and non-living things; the atmosphere, biosphere, and lithosphere, while ecosystem is the relationship between the compositions of the earth: their interactions, food web, and food chain.

    2. Using Gaia theory, propose a policy that helps maintain a livable environment.
    a. Policy: All buildings in Manila should have gardens on their rooftops.
    b. Manila is a highly industrialized city with very little sensitivity to the environment around them, thus making their water dirty and their air almost suffocating. This is what Revenge of Gaia is talking about, how Gaia behaves is by how the biosphere behaves. We could change that by beginning with a small act of setting up a garden on those multimillion buildings in and out of the metro. Imagine if all the buildings in Manila has a garden set up on their rooftops. Imaging the change it would bring.

    3. Discuss positive and negative contributions of any form of precipitation to the main components of the biosphere (3-5 sentences).
    a. Precipitation: Tornado
    b. Where tornadoes go, destruction follows. Tornadoes are born out of the imbalance of temperature in the troposphere in the event of a storm. The goodness in a tornado lies in its ability to restore balance of temperature in the troposhere. Without balance in the troposphere, there would be a much worse storm than when the tornado was conceived. The tornado helps the biosphere by disrupting the storm and weakening it.

    1. Environment is the surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or operates. The natural world, as a whole or in a particular geographical area, esp. as affected by human activity. While ecosystem is a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment.
    2. I will proposed the project of Japan, I think. The project that will collect the rain water in a underground place so that it will not be stucked in the road of Metro Manila.
    3. A good example of presipitation is the rain. A positive effect of rain is it can help us grown plant because it is a source of life in plants and a negative effect of rain is floods, it can destroy life and properties of the people affected by it.

  3. 1.Compare and contrast environment from ecosystem by providing at least 3 essential elements of each.
An ecosystem consists of the biological community that occurs in some locale, and the physical and chemical factors that make up its non-living or abiotic environment.A pond, a forest, an estuary, a grassland are some examples of ecosystem. Some components are the sunlight, temperature and water are abiotic factors, its biotic factors are producers, herbivores and carnivores while an environment is a term that encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally on Earth or some region. Moreover environment is a natural systems without massive human intervention, including all vegetation, animals, microorganisms, soil, rocks, atmosphere and natural phenomena that occur within their boundaries.
2.Using Gaia theory, propose a policy that helps maintain a livable environment.
The earth is a set of resources for human to use, and as human we are part of nature and other living organisms.Human should use resources and manufacture products with consideration to long term impacts.Policies of mine will be
a.No factory will manufacture plastics cause it contributes to water pollution and when it burns it produce chlorofluorocarbon that destroy our ozone layer.
    b. DENR must double its restrictions and must limit in giving permits on those establishments that will built there buildings and hotels in rural areas. They destroy mountains and habitat making it flat land just to build structures and create businesses.
c.Filipino should use bicycle rather than using cars and jeepneys cause these vehicles produce carbon monoxide which are harmful to human.Using bicycle as a medium of transportation can lessen the use of petroleum which our government import. It can help maintain fresh air and it is environmentally friendly.
3.Discuss positive and negative contributions of any form of precipitation to the main components of the biosphere (3-5 sentences).
We define precipitation as the primary mechanism for transporting water from the atmosphere to the surface of the earth.one of its positive effect is its atmospheric conditions that lead to the development of rain.rain. By this process plants can absorb water that is needed on making there food. One of the positive effect also is that it helps bring back the fresh water in the that maintain the balance and the cycle. Its negative effect somehow is that it trigger the water vapor in the atmosphere which is the main greenhouse gas.Another negative effect is that precipitation may cause freezing rain which is a devastating winter weather phenomena and are often cause of automobile accidents.

    1. Compare and contrast environment from ecosystem by providing at least 3 essential elements of each.

The main difference between the two is that the latter is a more overarching field that incorporates many elements of Earth and life sciences to understand various natural processes. Ecology, on the other hand, is usually more focused on how organisms interact with each other and with their immediate surroundings. Both sciences provide very important information about nature and what people can do to better protect the planet and conserve resources. Unlike environmental scientists, ecologists tend to focus their research on very specific populations of living things, such as a certain type of grass or a group of fishes. Ecologists seek to understand how populations interact, reproduce, and thrive within an ecosystem.

    2. Using Gaia theory, propose a policy that helps maintain a livable environment.
It's a hypothesis proposed to explain, for example, climate change over the millenia. For example, it proposes that the biological makeup of Earth's population has changed relative to the brightness and heat of the Sun needed a more CO2 based atmosphere to produce a greenhouse effect that helped warm the Earth. As the Sun grew brighter, the excess carbon was broken down and pushed through climate changes. When people exhumed the carbon and released it back into the atmosphere, they created, essentially, a fever that will change the climate back to more polarized climate conditions to push the carbon back underground.

    3. Discuss positive and negative contributions of any form of precipitation to the main components of the biosphere (3-5 sentences).
The biosphere is the global sum of all ecosystems. It can also be termed the zone of life on Earth, a closed system and largely self-regulating. The physical risk associated with some extreme weather events increase with temperature other effects include sea level rise and ocean acidification warming could be irreversible for several millennia. The ecological larger the increase in temperature, the more species will be at risk of extinction. In social mix of positive and negative impacts low- latitude and less-developed areas are especially vulnerable. The negative impacts of climate change tend to increase with temperature, larger temperature increases will be more difficult to adapt to.

    1. Environment refers to your surroundings where you live or where you can live while the ecosystem is a community of living organisms (plants, animals and microbes) in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment (things like air, water and mineral soil), interacting as a system.

    2. Policy: Waste management
    - Garbage, now a days is one of the problem in our country. Throwing garbage in proper manner can help us to prevent clogging of water ways. We can help by practicing segregation of biodegradable and non-biodegradable garbage.

    3.Precipitation: Rain (heavy rain)
    - It is liquid water in the form of droplets that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and then precipitated that is, become heavy enough to fall under gravity. What is the goodness in rain? It provides suitable conditions for many types of ecosystem, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation. It deposit most of the fresh water on the earth. But rain or heavy rain, significant amount of precipitation occurs in only a few hours, leading to severe flooding and landslide risk.
